The Public Storage Puyallup project is a 153,418 sf ground-up with a total of eight storage buildings, two of which are temperature-controlled and include an office, retail, and employee lounge space. The project is on a 4.19-acre lot located on the south side of Puyallup. The project site used to be a leach field for the previous owners—and current neighboring lot’s—Honey Bucket company. While Deacon was not the contractor to remove the field, this project has allowed Deacon to become familiar with environmental and geotechnical codes and the associated risks concerning decommissioning of these types of structures.
